A part on screen is not a part in your hand. Winnipeg Prototyping 3D prints prototypes, replacement parts and small production runs for makers, researchers and businesses in Winnipeg, and ships across Canada and the USA.
Whether you need one test fit or a batch of identical parts, we can take your idea from a sketch or a CAD file to finished prints.
From one prototype to a small batch
Prototyping is about learning fast. Print a part, test it, change the design and print again. When the design is right, we can print the same part in small batches, so you can launch a product, equip a lab or replace parts without the cost of injection moulds.
- Functional prototypes and test fits
- Replacement and repair parts
- Enclosures for electronics projects
- Small batch production of the same part

FDM printing
Fused deposition modelling builds parts layer by layer from plastic filament. It suits strong, practical parts such as brackets, enclosures, jigs and fixtures, and it is cost effective for larger parts and batches. We print with PLA and PETG, including Canadian-made filament that you can also buy from our shop.
Resin printing
Resin printing cures liquid resin with light, layer by layer. It captures fine detail and smooth surfaces, which suits small, detailed parts, models and presentation prototypes.
Not sure which to choose? Tell us what the part needs to do and we will recommend a process.
